I’m back after a long weekend. I’ve enjoyed reading your comments about each of the giveaways. It feels a bit like Christmas each day. In keeping with our southern theme, we chose a Sugarland CD as our Day six giveaway. I particularly like the song These Are the Days on this album. The lyrics remind me of Rose and Joe:
Well, it feels like we're living from pay check to check And we wake up wondering what might happen next Yeah, sometimes it feels like we won't make it through But the hard times pass Like the good ones do Baby wrap your fingers and Hold on tight I'll be right here beside you tonight Baby climb up here Watch the city glow Let's make a wish on the fireworks below We're making moments that we won't forget And feeling ones that haven't happened yet. SUGARLAND
What country song do you have that represents a current or past love?
You will have until Thursday at midnight to leave your comment.
The winner of the Sugarland CD is Jules! We will be contacting you by email to get your address so we can ship it to you. Congratulations and happy listening!
First to comment woohoo!! I will have to say beat friend by Tim McGraw.
Diamond Rio – Beautiful Mess
To Make You Feel My Love …it’s from the Hope Floats soundtrack and I live it when Harry Connick,Jr. Sings it.
Friend by Tim McGraw! It was the song I had played during my wedding.
God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. With the different relationships my hubby and I had and him and I wanting to be together we were finally able to and the song just expresses us a lot.
Knock Three Times by Freddy Fender…………….. way back in the 70’s lol its an
oldie but a goody lol
Unanswered Prayer by Garth Brooks
Red Solo Cup by Toby Keith would just be too funny, but its more like Diamond Rio’s Beautiful Mess or even Blake Shelton’s God Gave Me You. Its really hard to pick just one.
ugh. Amazed by Lonestar.
Look at you Girl by Chris Ledoux
Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. My relationships for years were awful and I went through a lot of heart break and horrible guys. I met my husband and he was well worth the wait! Together now for 11 years.
Dirty Little Secret All American Rejects…only for the laugh Prefect for Me by Ron Pope for non country and Timing is Everything from the Country Strong soundtrack
Marriage # 1 Straight Up by Wynonna.
Marriage #2 Shut Up and Kiss Me by Mary Chapin Carpenter
I usually don’t listen to Country, so I had to go back a ways. (I think “a ways” is pretty country like.)
Just A Kiss
dixie chicks earl LOL
Are you gonna kiss me or not
Forever and Ever, Amen by Randy Travis
